    ipod or mini ipod ...........

    1. Yes you can 2. That's not generally the primary reason for buying an iPod. I love sounding like a jerk. I've wanted an iPod for quite sometime, as my music collection would very nearly fill 20gigs. But I just can't justify spending that much on entertainment...

    "Weird Al" Yankovic

He is very cool. I'm not as much of a fan as I used to be, but in my prime, I sang Albuquerque live, on a few occasions. I'm trying to learn the crazy guitar shreds in it, but they really are crazy.

    Favorite "female" music?

It was the Book of Right-On that did it for me. I thought it was interesting that they mixed so her voice was way louder than the instruments. Bridges and Balloons was the second one I heard. Very cool. She has cool quirky lyrics, which she obviously doesn't take seriously. Quite refreshing...

    Favorite "female" music?

I got Joanna's album. I like it, it's different. Don't know if I'd call her a favourite quite yet though...

    Depressing music

Depends if you actually read into it or not. When you look into it a little, it's lovely. Thom himself described it as jubilant. And unlike The Bends and OK Computer, it isn't laced with songs about suicide and domestic abuse. Bit I guess it has A Wolf At The Door and We Suck Young Blood... it's...

    Depressing music

I could rant on this one for a long long time, but Emo is the worst idea for a sub-genre ever. All music should be emotional in some way. I'f you're looking for "depressed" music (another term which drastically needs redeeming) I'd look into The Bends or OK Computer by Radiohead. In fact, for...

    any good rock?

lol, I was gonna pull the "Yes, you should be looking for suggestions" call as well. But then, from the list you put, I'd use it on you as well, so, yeah... If you're into the harder rock stuff, I'd recommend broadening your horizens a little and trying out some of the more experimental bands...

    Favorite "female" music?

I don't like any of the ones on that list. Well, there are one or two I've never heard of, but I loathe Evanescence. Favourite female musician would be Bjork. PJ Harvey is also very cool.

    The Mars Volta

Are there many The Mars Volta fans around? They're about my favourite band (well, next to Radiohead, of course). www.themarsvolta.com They are ex-members of At The Drive-In, which I know slightly less about...

    maynard has found Jesus?

With, with a few days hindsight (und a few days of www.toolband.com updates) we can clearly see that it was an April Fools gag. Oh well. Sucks. It'd be pretty mad for him to be saved. Mad==crazy-cool, not mad==bad-things...

    Boy meets girl

This would be THE book (I obligitarily say "apart from the Bible") that I would recommend for anyone who is single to read. Heck, even anyone who is in an unmarried relationship.

I get deppressed disturbingly too often.

Just keep busy. Sponsor a child and it'll help you realise you have no reason to feel depressed. I could just say "think about poor children" but until you sponsor, you don't truly understand it, really. It helps anyway. I kind of have this hang-up about Christians should not be depressed, but...

why am i torn like this?

I agree with Endearing lil Influenza. It's a strange feeling to be really good friends with someone of the opposite gender, especially, when you have a boy/girlfriend already. And especially when you get thoughts like "If I wasn't going out with this other guy/girl, this one would be perfect for...

a female in need of some help by all you wise men (and women):)

There will be comparison. But it should probably just be the kind that lasts for a second. Images stay in the mind for years, whether you want them to or not. Entertaining those comparisons, that really shouldn't happen in a good Christian marriage. Real wimmin are a lot different from pixelated...

Keeping a Job when it kills you inside?

Sometimes it's right to quit a job because it sucks. Sometimes it isn't. It's really up to you to decide. Pray, talk to friend, your pastor. I had this awful job (also my first job) at a plastic container retail store. It was awful, I was on minimum wage, while workmates continued to get raises...

    Silent Hill Series

Wicked series. I didn't play the first one until very recently. I found it was far too awful, though I'm sure it was good for its time. I couldn't handle its datedness. 2 and 3 are the best. 4 doesn't have the same freaky atmosphere... And 2 is far better than 3.

    Witchcraft and Games

If you're really an on-fire Christian who has submitted your life to God, will you actually be spending enough time playing these kind of games that it gets to your thinking enough to do any harm? I'm guilty of playing too many games, but recently I've had this thought. Another thing which...

    Left Behind

I read the first 7 or so, then stopped because, like several of you, I didn't agree with the theology. "Pre-trib"? I don't know the name of it... Quite well written though.
