I think you did quite well with this discussion, Army Matt. We need to be stubborn Orthodox, because the rest of the world is stubborn against us. Church history proves us right, and some cannot handle that one fact. To claim they love God, Jesus, the Apostles, and then to diss the Church...

Ummmm.... hopefully not starting an argument... but no, Orthodox do not accept "aerial toll houses" as a doctrine. It is a belief in some places, as I understand, but it has never been accepted as an official doctrine of the Orthodox Church.

If a person can trace their family history back royalty, there are documents and history that can trace back. I have heard of people tracing their history back to the Bible. There are records in the Holy Land that are ancient.
