No . As firstly I believe that prayer is a form worship. Secondally I know that the saints are reliant upon God , He is the provider and the source, why go to a middle man ? Also I don't see any real Biblical backing for it either , prayers are never offered to anyone but God : ) .

In the church of England we have annointing oil and in some higher Anglican churches there is incense . Im fairly sure a atleast a few pentecostals and charismatics use annointing oil when laying hands on the sick (we do at our services ) :) .

Hi, I'd just like to clarify something , I've heard a lot of people say that Roman Catholics believe we are saved by works and not faith in Jesus . Is this the view you hold ? How do you rationalize Jesus coming as an atoning sacrifice - what was the purpose of His suffering and death if so ...

If I did'nt do those things until I died , I don't think I would have been saved in the first place. Works being the evidence / fruit of faith .
