Fiction is the new album from Dark Tranquillity, and i must say, DT's style has never let up, and never gets old. Terminus, The Mundane and the Magic, Empty Me, all amazing tracks from their latest work. Can anyone deny that Dark Tranquility is the true purveyor of Melodic Death Metal?

Mother Earth, Jilian, Angels, Memories, those are some of my favorite songs from them. I don't like how people compare WT to evanescence, they are worlds apart, not to mention, from different continents.

sounds over looks. Give me a simple looking revolver that thunders over the other weapons than one that looks flashy, but sounds like just a 'pistol'. Ballistic Weapons for UT2004 is a great example of a good sound, realism, and looks balance in FPS weapons.

you're right, some of them don't go for the stereotypical black metal band thing, but them being serious or not has nothing to do with it, and my point about venom still stands.

and the whole 'satanic imagery' thing, as well as the entire shock value that Venom entailed. Of course, those two alone, are very small elements of black metal...

Well, in the metal genre, they are a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm not 'into' them, but they have decent music, at least, for the stuff they play, as long as they don't lose some of their black metal elements, then they won't go they way of that horrid COF. My friend loaned me In Sorte Diaboli...
