From what I understand, this kind of thing happens more frequently than most people would think. At least this was only a towel, and not a pair of scissors or a scalpel, which have also been left inside patients.

For the record, I have to say that as much as I dislike Bush, I think he did the right thing in that situation with the children. What was he going to do, say "Sorry kids, gotta run; some terrorists just flew two planes into the WTC killing thousands of people. Have a nice day!". Then again...

Why? The woman apparently wasn't even aware that that was company policy. At the very least she should be given her job back as long as she agrees not to eat pork there again. But really, what an idiotic policy :eek:. But I guess they have a right make stupid rules, since it is a private company.

No, not in in my opinon. There are plenty of people I have great respect for who hold beliefs that I consider ridiculus. That said, perhaps you are right, I could have been bit more tactfull. I will edit my post.
