    I think I'm done.

I'm not at all searching for a new God or the "correct" God. So, in that respect I am not interested. I had a lot of things I wanted to type, but I'm not ready yet. When I start to type I get a heavy heart and can't convince myself to put my feelings into words. For now, I'm just going to...

    I think I'm done.

I have not came quite that far and I'm not sure I will. I'm not even sure I'm totally renouncing my Christian faith. I'm in a rough and confused spot. I'm not sure what I'm doing. I feel like I have potentially wasted a lot of years, or perhaps I'm just in a rough patch of life and expecting...

    I think I'm done.

Indeed I realize that. What I'm referring to is my own guilt in the things that I have not been able to over come. Even though I have prayed for it, sought God in the matter, laid down everything but my bible, and personally devoted myself to Jesus. Yet, I'm still in vices that have not been...

    I think I'm done.

Professing to be a Christian. I didn't know where else to put this, so I figured this would be the place. I'm officially changing my icon to deist. I'm just worn out and tired of the fight. The guilt and condemnation that comes with Christianity are too much for me to bear right now. My...

    Anyone play Warhammer 40K?

You'll never get a straight answer because no Christian believes the same way. I would go with what the bible says though. If you think it's sin and you do it it is (sin). If it doesn't bother your spiritual walk, then I say go for it.

    Avoiding guilt and condemnation?

I have been in Christ for 5 years now and I struggle with these type's of thoughts every day. My problem is, if I'm not reading my bible, or a book about it, I have those thoughts of..."You know you should be reading your bible!" It has gotten so bad in recent months that I stopped doing...

    What would you say?

Tell them you're fine and let them think your nuts. It's not a lie. You're never lying if you say what God say's about you. :)

There has gotta be more than this!

Have you ever read the "Wheel of Time" series? They are basically long winded Tolkien ripoffs, but I found the ones I have read enjoyable. They are by the late Robert Jordan. I tend to have the same problem as the OP. I personally refuse to read any books with graphic sex or foul language...

    Dean Koontz anyone?

Never could get into them. Now I wouldn't even try to read them.

Prayers that Availeth Much and other Prayer Books

I myself do not have the books. Nor do I have any set prayers I pray. Thanks for posting about the books though. I'll check them out when I get a chance.

Out the Box - Your Other than WoF Beliefs

I in no way meant that no one is out there doing the works of the Lord. I just wish it was preached more often.

Favorite subject/time period you like to read/study

I have been around Christian forums for years and just realized there is a history board, lol. History is what I like to read about as recreation. I'm assuming there are others like me around here. :) I personally am very interested in war History. Especially WWII, Vietnam War, and Civil War...

Out the Box - Your Other than WoF Beliefs

You weed out the bad and take in the good. I think my biggest gripe with WoF is there isn't enough evangelistic teaching. IMO Comfort and Cameron are out there doing what everyone of us should be doing. He has to be my favorite non WoF preacher/teacher.

There has gotta be more than this!

I'll let you borrow my phone Webbers. ;) Actually, I agree. Preaching personal conviction as truth is why we have so many denominations and divisions in the church.

Out the Box - Your Other than WoF Beliefs

I know this isn't exactly what you are asking for. But I love Ray Comfort and his teachings on ministering to the lost. I never hear any WoF talk about him and I for one think it's very effective.

There has gotta be more than this!

Nice stuff Webers! Although, I do believe that if God is leading you to lay a certain type of book or activity down, it's best to follow. As for what kinds of books to read. I read pretty much all war history books for my recreational reading. I'm a nerd. :P

    Kenneth Hagin Sermons April 2009

Are these sermons you have purchase? Or are they mp3's that are floating around for free? I would not mind 8 gigs of Hagin to go with my very large Copeland collection. :)
