Do you look for a potential date/ SO at church or a church related event? Church related event being anything related to a church activity(charity, weekend event) or group(study group, etc.) Is finding a potential date one of the reasons that you go to church?

Do you think it's awkward to attend a singles ministry? As in a group of church which consists of Christian singles. I just think of the idea of going to a singles ministry as extremely embarrassing and exposing. It's like saying, "here I am to find a date!" What do you guys think?
