    Do you Blog?

I do have a blog on Xanga, which can be found in my profile. I only have one, although I'm resisting started a blog on MySpace since many of my dancer friends use it instead. It's not anonymous (I have my full name and picture on the blog), and I like it that way so that my friends can find me...

    Video Games with Religion

Planescape: Torment has some references to religion. Actually, pretty much any D&D game will probably have some religious references since the nature of the Cleric class is religious. Breath of Fire II for the Super NES (and later remade for the Game Boy Advance) had a storyline that dealt...

    too old??

If you're just dancing for fun, you're never too old to start. Dancing is well worth whatever time you put into it, and I know dancers who have started at all ages. If you're wanting to dance professionally, it probably depends on what dance you want to do. Generally, the earlier you start...

Do you think ball room dancing is healthy activity for Christians to do?

I'm a swing dancer rather than a ballroom dancer (they're not the same thing), but I would say go for it! Dancing is a lot of fun, and it has certainly been an amazing experience for me. Learning how to dance is something that you can take with you for the rest of your life. By the way, for...

    PC Games

Yes, FF7 and FF8 were both released for the PC. I will warn you that the PC version of FF7 is very buggy. It won't even install on most machines. I think it only works on Windows 95 and 98 and even then only with certain video cards. I know that it will not install on a 2000 or XP machine...

    Awsomeness of Emulators

I've been out of the loop for a while, but I don't think this is true. Nintendo didn't buy Sega. Sega just dropped out of the console market and is now focusing only on games, so it is now a third-party developer for Nintendo (much like Capcom, Square Enix, or any other game developer). From...

    Interesting theology quiz

I took the test, and this is what I got: You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God’s grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you...

Have you choreographed a dance before?

I choreographed a segment of a dance once, but not an entire dance. I always have choreography running through my head, but I've never had the opportunity to actually choreograph a dance.

What kind of dancing do you do?

I'm a swing dancer. (I find it strange that swing is in the same category as line and western...) I do dance some other styles occassionally, such as latin and ballroom, but I don't do them enough to claim any of them.

    Awsomeness of Emulators

I'm familiar with Nintendo's take on the issue, but I honestly do not consider it a reliable source. Nintendo's statement on the danger of emulators and ROMs seems greatly exaggerated to me. Nintendo is notorious for being overly protective of its intellectual property even to the extent of...

    Awsomeness of Emulators

Actually, the emulators themselves are not illegal; only the ROMs are illegal. Also, from my understanding, the ROMs aren't illegal either if you own a copy of the game. I have ROMs for all of the games I own simply because it's easier to play them on my computer than to hook up the system.

What type of school did you attend?

I went to a private Christian school from kindergarten through 12th grade. It was fundamentalist in the most extreme sense of the term, and while I didn't necessarily disagree with it at the time, some of it did make me feel uneasy. Now, I disagree with quite a bit of it. If I have children, I...

    Nazarene question

Regarding losing your salvation, the Church of the Nazarene believes that salvation is a gift that is provided by God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, but it must be freely accepted by a person. Just as the person has the freedom to accept that gift, he or she also has the freedom to...

    Differences?

For the most part, the only differences between the two churches is in their church government and in the semantics they use to describe their beliefs. Their actual doctrine is pretty much the same. The Church of the Nazarene does tend to put more emphasis on entire sanctification as a second...
