Epicenter, by Joel Rosenberg. While reading this book - a political and spiritual look at events in the Middle East - I was prompted to begin reading a series of four political thriller novels written by the same author. You really really need to read this book.

I was born in Hot Springs, but being an Army Brat didn't spend a lot of time there. We have gone there on mini vacations several times, really nice place.
