Don't preach to your friend??? Wow, that is quite possibly the worst advice and the most biblically incorrect I've heard. Is there a better wording for what you intended to say?

    bible study question

What's wrong with a Baptist Bible study? I'm a Baptist and our Bible studies are taken straight from the Bible, no spin, just God's Word. I'll give you me email, and I'll disciple you on being a Baptist! :priest: I think you should investigate the study and see how accurately they are...

Well, with that I'm off. Sorry this deviated so far from the Flood. Thanks for your time and perspectives! I'm sure we will see each other again.

Arikay, where are their scriptures to justify those beliefs? If you don't show me Biblical support, than I am going to assume that it was just a human error. You know, kinda like Darwinism has proven itself to be.

Family guy of course, what a grand show. Hopefully that is one thing we can all agree on

    The Flood

Yawn, I've heard these "refutations" hundreds of times. But of course, this isn't what the Bible really says. It is a manipulation by nonbelievers to try to make a point. In essence, your argument is lamer than FDR's legs. :D

    The Flood

Who said that the Bible is up for interpretation? Considering that there is nothing that has been scientifically proven that contradicts anything that the Bible says, I would always lean on the truth of the Bible before I chase wild theories. But you do what you gotta do.

    The Flood

Why would Jesus have said for someone to write a Bible? The books of the Bible came through many different humans, but all by the same author -- the Holy Spirit. Q. How do you know the words of Jesus??? A. Through someone who witnessed them and was inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Well written troodon. I don't claim to be a scientist and I admit that I can't explain what you have written. However, I still don't see how that is conclusive evidence. I was a liar cause I claimed to be going to sleep at an earlier time, but interesting posts prohibited me. I hope...

    The Flood

Wonder why Jesus taught from the Bible than? The Word is not the Bible? Hmm...we would need to step into a theological thread on this one.

    The Flood

That is a fairly hasty generalization. You make a few sweeping claims without any reasoning. We see that days are actually major time frames? I don't, especially not when taken in a biblical perspective. You will have to explain to me then why God created plants before he created the sun...

I'm not new to this forum or these types of threads. I refuse to sit here and read through 50 links that I have already read. You know the evidence that YEC claims, and I know the lies that evolutionists claim. Same stuff back and forth shan't change anyone's mind. I really just wanted...

At the very least, we can at least be glad to see that this thread is alive and well! (Through 15 pages of evolution)
