    Welcome Jace- Belated Birth Story

Hi Ladies, I haven't had a chance to get on here in a while- but I'm back to work now and have access to the internet again. Jace finally made his arrival on January 28th 2007 at 6:08 pm. He was 8 days late  On Jan. 27th I was feeling a little down so I decided to go to the Mall...

Please get this baby outta me!

Ladies I need some labor vibes. I am so miserable. My due date was 2 days ago and I haven't had any signs that Jace is going to make his arrival anytime soon. Yesterday morning I fell down the stairs and thought that my water broke, but apparently I just peed on myself :sorry: Spent a little...

    Married before Pregnancy?

I was not (and have no plans to be) married. Unfortunately I made a bad choice with the wrong guy- but I welcome the miracle and the opportunity to turn my life around and be a good Christian mother to my son!

    [open] Pregnancy pictures

Pre-pregnancy I was 5'10- 185 lbs.- I've gained about 20 so far (only 3 weeks to go). I don't think that's too bad, both my sister and my cousin gained 60 lbs. when they were pregnant.

    another girl for me maybe

Jace's heartrate has always been above 150- The old wives tale says Girl- but he is very much a boy. I have ultrasound pictures of the "boy parts", lol!

He is getting on my nerves. (trimester 3 rant)

Jace is curled up on my right side and he keeps sticking out. Its the weirdest feeling. I was having ferocious heartburn for a while till someone recommended Zantac 75- it has been a lifesaver for me. At night I just have to surround myself with like 5000 pillows and then I'm fine. I sleep...

    Oh My

If you could find a time closer to 10-12 weeks that would probably be better. Also- if this is your first baby you probably will not feel it move at 15 weeks- I didn't feel flutters until closer to 18 weeks (and every book I have read says 1st time mom's won't feel it till 18-22 weeks.)

    Heartbeat

I had my first appointment at 9 weeks and my Dr.'s did not attempt to listen then. I had an early emergency ultrasound at 12 weeks and saw it, and a regularily scheduled appointment at 13 weeks where I heard the heartbeat for the first time!

How much weight did you gain

I will most definitely be over 200 when I have my son- but I'm not really too worried about it. I've gained 12 pounds so far and I am 28 weeks pregnant. I lost quite a bit of weight before I got pregnant so I was paranoid at first- but even when I have this baby I should still weigh less than...

    How far long is everyone....

I will be 27 weeks tomorrow- EDD 1/20/07! I'm having a baby boy- Jace David, and will be a single mom (long story).

    cost of birth?

I will probably be paying about $1000 dollars out of pocket for all the prenatal care, labor & delivery, and baby's first pediatrician checkup after birth. I'll then be taking Jace's Dad to court for half that amount- can't wait *eyeroll*

    On a lighter note...

Did something silly just today actually- within the last couple days my belly button has really popped out- so I was in the bathroom at work, looking in the mirror with my shirt up, poking myself in the belly button going "boop, boop" and this lady walked in. I was so embarassed, I was like-...

    Names

What name or names do you have picked out for your baby? How did you decide, and what does the name mean? My lil guy will be named Jace David Larson I was having the toughest time thinking of a name- and just randomly thought "Jace" one night and it just kind of stuck. David is one of my...

    [open] Did you know?

I had a gut feeling that it was a boy the whole way through- and I was right, and I'm very excited, I've got experience with boys (3 little brothers, and 3 nephews so far.) Can't wait!

    Well...

    Yay! Congrats!

    Crying

My hormones leveled off quite a bit when I got out of the first trimester- I still get emotional at sappy movies and when I think about giving birth (partly cause I'm excited, partly cause I'm terrified.) Hopefully they'll stay even as I move into the 3rd tri.
