    The prayers of a sinner

Yes King Manasseh. He was one of the first motivations I stumbled across early in my journey. It's a good reminder of God's mercy.

    The prayers of a sinner

Most of my adult life was willful din and rebellion. I was an atheist until God revealed himself to me. My conscious is sorry God what I've done, but I'm still pretty corrupt in my heart but have been working on things. No longer an atheist.

    I'm about to break...

Hello all. I just need to get this off my chest because I'm about to completely break. I want to disclaim that the mess I'm in is my fault and I take responsibility for my condition. I'm at the end of my rope with suffering and I don't know what that means cause I'm not killing myself. There...

    The prayers of a sinner

Through studying scripture I've discovered that if a sinner (an unrighteous person) prays, God finds this practice an abomination. He finds their worship to be an abomination as well. With that said, what if this sinner is truly thankful that he woke up in the morning and wasn't dead? What if...

Okay I've been wanting to ask a Calvinist this for a while

Yes I definitely do 100 percent. The thing is God has to draw you unto him and only true repentance is possible by means of the Holy Spirit (as I understand things). The renewing of the mind can only happen by the Holy Spirit, and my mind is still utter rubbish with no real change in nearly a...

Okay I've been wanting to ask a Calvinist this for a while

Interesting, thank you for your reply. I actually see a pyschiatrist and two counselors who are baffled by my case and have failed to diagnose me.. They all suggest I get a brain scan to rule out a tumor on my brain; I've agreed to do. Okay, Paul was chosen by God to become an apostle. I...

Okay I've been wanting to ask a Calvinist this for a while

"Tragically, everything a sinner does is sin" Gee, that's a jim dandy thought. This is going to sound weird or maybe smart alecky, but I don't intend that as my tone because text cannot convey emotion or intent very well at times. So the next time my best friend and I (who is a Christian) grab...

Okay I've been wanting to ask a Calvinist this for a while

Well that's an interesting angle on it. Well I suppose the answer could be that, regardless of my fate, I should be kind and merciful, which I am, but maybe step it up whether or not it lessens my punishment, because it's good to be kind amd merciful. As fat as getting saved, maybe find an...

Okay I've been wanting to ask a Calvinist this for a while

Thank you all for your encouraging and uplifting replies. I will continue to proceed forth the best I can do. Your support in this hard time is invaluable. I would like to post this verse (which I'm familiar with the surrounding story that led to this event) Samuel 16:14 — King James Version...

Okay I've been wanting to ask a Calvinist this for a while

Well I figured I have based off of at least one thing being that after spending years as a militant atheist amd reading what the Pharisees did, I think intent well beyond their level. But I'll say 99.99 percent that I have. I have to not say 100 because I can't for sure amd leave myself some hope.
