I guess linguists and medicos like to be precise about such things when they communicate. Near death is literally near death. Came back from the dead is a better term for what you believe to be an NDE.

Not sure why you think that. I am not finding anything online that defines an NDE as a Lazarus experience. I am aware of first hand testimonies from people who medically died and other medically inexplicable things like instant healing though.

An NDE and a Lazarus experience are quite distinct I think, lol.

when I google the definition it says "an unusual experience taking place on the brink of death and recounted by a person on recovery, typically an out-of-body experience or a vision of a tunnel of light." That is what I define as an NDE.

To me a Near Death Experience is literally that. A medically died and came back to life experience also exists. I didn't realise they were one and the same...

Nope but I have had an out of body experience way prior...in that I was looking down on my head while I was walking and talking to my friend. But it was in a dream where I met the blinding light figure of Jesus while I was very physically ill in a bed and couldn't move.

NDE=Near death experience. Maybe the way I phrased the sentence you misinterpreted. No it was a NDE. I didn't have this episode while i treated patients, lol I GOT that sick from the context of during medical training.
