I also found this. I think its from Steve Gregg, I see his name in the article but I'm not sure: https://www.preteristarchive.com/Books/pdf/2006_gregg-steve_eschatology.pdf Thought it was pretty thorough and decently organized.

Has anyone read the Apocalypse Code by Hank Hanergrraaff? I see that Geisler trashed it then Gregg somewhat tried to defend it. Can someone tell me where Hanergraaff stands in relation to Gregg?

I'm still going through that video but its taking longer than I've had time to do in one sitting. I tried to run it through a voice recognition software program to transcribe it into written text to skim it faster but its not working. I can clean up the audio in the video (I'm an audio engineer...

I'm confused on how that's not a false dichotomy. If I read correctly, there are a number of contributors to this thread that don't seem to identify themselves being anywhere on that line. Perhaps I misunderstand the line. I started taking some time to work through the Steve Gregg video. Is...

I'll take some time to go through that video and jot some notes and/or questions sometime today or tomorrow. I believe the value here is exposure to general framework on a topic. Ultimately I agree that it comes down to studying this stuff myself, but gaining a sense of how to approach the...

Yes. I'm beginning to see that there's no 'nutshell' answers to any of this. The views can be summarized easily, but the scriptural defenses involve some of the most intensive research that one could encounter in all of systematic theology. I'm debating whether it'd be better to move this to a...

Thank you. Its easier biting this off in small simple compartmentalized chunks then expanding from there. Do your range of dispensationalists typically fall under this 'futurist' view?

Hey... I realized this may be a bit biased: But it seems he was attempting to give a fair and respectful shake to both sides? Thoughts?

Eh man. Do you play music? That can be great way of connecting with people! What instrument? I play the piano. :)

Well, apparently a lot of Baptists didn't get the memo.

Dude... that helps! Thanks. I clicked on the commentary of the 20th chapter and it had an easily understandable breakdown of how the amil theologians defend the doctrinal belief. I can also look at an overview of the verses they use and see how they've developed them within the framework. So...

That's completely irrelevant to the core issue here. An adequate defense of either side is not contingent on any single passage of scripture, and even if it was, the question is not 'what does Rev 20 say'. Its obviously a passage that needs to be considered in any conversation about eschatology...

Oops... I introduced myself in the wrong section haha.

Haha... I didn't see the 'introduce yourself' part of the forum and introduce myself on the Worship Ministry page lol. I'll copy paste and hopefully it won't get flagged as spam for double posting. Hello everyone. I googled "Christian Forums" to ask a question about eschatology. Then I took a...

Hello. I'm new here too. Glad I saw this post... I didn't realize there was an 'introduce yourself' section!

    Dull and terrible services

What on earth do you mean "What do I think of it"?? Do you mean in my professional opinion? Or from a philosophical standpoint? Or are you asking about the what I think of heavy metal rockers? That question doesn't make a lot of sense. Do you have an issue with people banging on pianos??? I...

When you see the words 'Radio Ministry' do you think sermons or music?

Neither. I think of general AM/FM broadcast. I would distinguish this from Podcast ministry or Live Stream ministry. I think its tacky to call something a Youtube Ministry. Radio to me specifically implies an AM/FM media platform.

Hello. Just signed up on the forum today... Saw the worship section and wanted to say Hi :)

Hello everyone. I googled "Christian Forums" to ask a question about eschatology. Then I took a quick look around and saw the worship part. Thought I'd say 'hi'! :) I'm a career musician and audio engineer, currently a volunteer keyboard player in my home church :) Its soooooo much fun!! I've...

Hello. This is my first thread on this forum. Have been looking to touch base with some informed students of the Bible for some time now. Does anyone know of a short concise comparison chart or article that contrasts the scriptural basis of the amillenial view with the traditional pre-trib...
