Saw what I can only call a "sign" from God. Advice Needed.

Dear Sir, I do not see Saul until the end of Acts 7 which does not mean he may not have been there, but you don't see his persecution until after his appearance to hold the clothes of the men who stoned Stephen.

    Forgiving demons?

Forgive the off topic reply. How do these verses in Ephesians support "good deeds" and when Paul talks about the seal of the Holy Spirit is he not talking about a life time seal? Eph. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works...

    Forgiving demons?

Forgiveness was based on the blood of Jesus which was paid for us. I find no place in the scriptures which mentions forgiveness for any other being wether it be a Demon or some creature in space. By nature they are not not can be forgiven.

    Forgiving demons?

It looks to me like Paul talks about forgiving other people not demons. "Eph. 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you." "Col. 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel...

The Lost Truth of the Mystery!

I would say this: 2Tim. 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover...

    The Address on The Envelope

Gentlemen, Having checked the discussion forum I would like to point at Gal 2:1-10 and Acts 15:6-12. Without digging too deep into the greek use of the scriptures it should be clear that Peter and Paul had ministries focused on different groups of believers. Peter had a first hand witness of...

    The Address on The Envelope

Chris, I would not address a letter to non-jews with the title of Hebrews nor would I expect to be received well by law keeping Jews if I sent them a letter titled Romans.

Dispensationalism - simply a means to an end

For me it is the right prescription of glasses for understanding the scriptures. I am thankful that early in my learning I was sent to the right dispensary for this prescription.

    Gospel of Grace

Your first quote is from Matthew. I agree that Paul has our message, however I don't understand why you would present Matthew who was very legalistic in his message.

    Murderer ?!?

This makes him an excellent choice for Rom 4:6-8 which must have confused the enemy then and even more so when Paul revealed Gods plan of grace for the world.

    Understanding The Scriptures

Excellent quote that few take to heart when they open the book. Do you happen to know where I can get a digitized copy of the MCB that I can import into my Accordance app?

    Unforgiveness

Eph. 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. This verse helps me the most. The part that I like is that Christ already forgave my sin before I was born just because I believe he died to pay for my debt. There is...

    Kingdom of Priests

My read of Exodus only mentions male priests. If you believe that today we as Christians are priests then what happens to the women? Can a woman be a priest of the lord and when did that change in scripture?

Dispensationalist Only Are we sure that we can know we will be Rted ?

Are you saying that deliverance is from walking uprightly? Or that deliverance is from the Holy Spirit when we get it? Or that we will gain deliverance from Israel?

    Up

As a deeper fellowship question: Do you think God is offering deliverance to us today just like he did in your quoted passages? Zech. 8:22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. 23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In...

The Book of Revelation cannot be one hundred percent literal.

From John's perspective the Lord was going to come back soon (Acts 1:6). You don't see any mention in the writing of John talking about Jew and Gentile being offered salvation together in one body. Then you have: Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery...

The Book of Revelation cannot be one hundred percent literal.

Something happened between: Acts 19:10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. 2Tim. 1:15 This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and...
