The thing is those who like to attack you are those who cannot validate what they are trying to say... Psychology 101... it's a fight or flight reaction.. you attack so it doesn't show you have no clue what you are talking about..

no a commandment gives no one the ability to obey it it is our free will that allows us to chose to obey it or not... The Holy Spirit will guide us to obeying it but in the end it is our choice, born again or not..

everyone Dave L can't even defend the thread he posted about James disproving free will so he starts another one to see how long it will take before people start calling him out... not being mean just stating fact.... God gave a part of himself so that man could live and if man has free will...

according to you no one can be a believer if they still sin because to sin means that you do not fully believe.. means you have doubts... So according to you other posts no one is going to heaven to be with God..

What gets me is that people say things and then don't explain why they say them nor what got them into that frame of mind to begin with .. simply put they are just blowing hot air...

The way I see it is this... morality is of the flesh but if you act from the Spirit and choose from the Spirit then it is no longer moral but a spiritual act because you chose, with your spirit, to do the right thing... free will explained according to determinism...lol.. try again please...

so let me get this straight.. I was a sniper and my job was to kill without question and if my target was an innocent, and I knew this to be true, and I did not pull the trigger, who was in control of that God or the devil??

Have to interject here.. sorry about this.. but if you do something knowing it is good, saved or not, it is the will of God because the devil would never want you loving anyone nor would he want you to be nice to anyone..... SO what you are saying is that God is only in control of those saved or...

so once you are born again you don't sin???

ok so a sin is a sin and according to you as long as we sin we cannot be born again because to be born again would be to devote yourself to God and reject sin..
