FBI: Black Identity Extremists Bigger Threat than Al Qaeda or White Supremacists

Depends on what the definition of "threat" is. While white supremacists and Al Qaeda don't have much support here in the US, black supremacists are gaining sympathy every day, and it's demonstrated by the media and many in Congress (though it's always denied).

Abortion Bans are Really Working Great

We ought to make murder legal since people murder anyways, right?

Donald Trump sexually assaulted E. Jean Carroll in the mid-1990s, writer says in new book

Being an adulterer doesn't automatically make someone a sexual abuser. You can't look at one part of someone's life, none of someone else's (in this case, the accuser), and then conclude that the bad thing almost certainly happened. I know it was popular during the election to accuse Trump of...

Donald Trump sexually assaulted E. Jean Carroll in the mid-1990s, writer says in new book

Exactly. We're expected to believe every allegation against him in spite of zero evidence, no police report, and an inappropriate means of finally "coming out" about it.

Donald Trump sexually assaulted E. Jean Carroll in the mid-1990s, writer says in new book

How credible is the allegation? My initial guess is, not very, unless she reported it to the police before her audience.

Knitting site Ravelry bans support for 'white supremacist' Trump administration on its platform

My point was that they're accusing someone of white supremacy and racism without evidence- and as my hometown just found out, you can still get in trouble for stuff like that.

Knitting site Ravelry bans support for 'white supremacist' Trump administration on its platform

I'm from Oberlin, and the college there just lost a $33 million lawsuit for smearing a local business after some of their students were arrested for shoplifting from it. Perhaps these knitters should be careful who they accuse of what without evidence. Oberlin learned that the hard way.

    Love God...

If you love God, you will want what He wants (or at the very least, trying to want what He wants). You will unite your will to His.

    Sins in different faith traditions

The Apostolic (Catholic and Orthodox) Churches consider masturbation a sin (well, I think the Orthodox do), but it seems to be "acceptable" in much of Protestantism, with any opposition to it being cultural more than anything.

    Who is your favorite Pope

Tough. Saint Peter left some pretty big shoes to fill. I think Pope St. John Paul II was the greatest Pope of recent history.

    Is libertarianism compatible with Catholicism?

I think capital-L Libertarianism is too relativistic to be compatible with Catholicism. We adhere to moral absolutes, and strict Libertarianism puts "liberty" ahead of anything else. Abortion comes to mind. Libertarianism would say "not on my dime, but do it on your own if you want", which...

‘Pride’ celebrations: A disgusting month of naked men twerking for innocent kids

Next "pride" month ought to be Catholic pride month. Allegiance to God is one of very few things in life I can see being worthy of some amount of "pride" .

Missouri Health Department denies license to Planned Parenthood

Good- abortionists should be held to the same standard as actual doctors if they want to be considered as such. If I were a doctor and my patients were routinely leaving my practice in an ambulance, there'd be the devil to pay.

    Why does God forgive us?

The better question to ask is, why do people forgive each other? If we who are sinful are capable of such a thing, then how much more so does God (who doesn't know sin) forgive us?
