    The Royal Adultery

Given everything you've said about her and her background, I'm surprised you'd consider her first marriage valid at all. You should be happy she has now been baptized and chosen to be part of a Christian marriage. So much judgment on this site. It's very sad.

Successful repentance...? How is it done...?

That's Jesus's job, not yours or mine. He conquers, defeats and overcomes sin through His sacrifice for us. We are not our own saviours, or anyone else's saviour, a bishop once said. Our job is to accept Jesus and trust in His sacrifice and God's love for us.

Mortgage, to be or not to be?

A mortgage is simply a loan that allows you to purchase a home that you will pay for long-term. You don't become a slave to the lenders as long as you purchase within your means. A slave has no option. A responsible mortgagor can sell and move on any time they like.

    conservative female priest?

I'm not entirely sure what the point of this thread is? TBH, it doesn't seem to be to actually have the original question answered, but instead to stir up some hopefully-not-too-transparent avenue of starting a debate about liberal vs conservative vs whatever else. If that's the case, then a...

I make peace, and create evil

What is it, exactly, that you think the word "sovereign" means? It simply refers to a Supreme ruler, or the font of authority. Why would God's sovereignty mean that He condones evil? Perhaps you are also confused about the meaning of the word "condone"?

The "Anglican Church in North America" (ACNA) is a group of conservative Anglicans/Episcopalians that have split off from the mainline Churches in the US (TEC) and Canada (Anglican Church of Canada) because of very strong differences of opinion on things like same-sex marriage/ordination of...

Why Are We Divided and Can We Fix It (With the Holy Ghost)?

All very understandable, but it still sounds like yet another denomination to me. You say you don't understand why other groups have rules, and regulations, and certain beliefs, and that's fine, but it sounds like you also have your own set of rules and beliefs. Just don't kid yourself that...

Why Are We Divided and Can We Fix It (With the Holy Ghost)?

Not every group has this attitude. There are large denominations wherein disagreement and diversity of opinion aren't outlawed. I also don't really get how one can be "non-denominational". Doesn't this just mean you've split off from the rest and formed yet another (if tiny) denomination? What's...

    Intro

It'll all come out in time, I'm sure :D Let's just say I'm a disillusioned Catholic who is really excited about having found a church home that seems to fit. I'm currently studying the foundations and history of the Church, comparing theological viewpoints, and getting involved locally. Thanks...

    Intro

Hi Everyone Just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I'm relatively new to the Anglican Church, and very excited about where God has been leading me, but won't get much into that in this post. Only wanted to say hi and ask whether there's anyone else in the Southwestern Ontario and/or...
