Given everything you've said about her and her background, I'm surprised you'd consider her first marriage valid at all. You should be happy she has now been baptized and chosen to be part of a Christian marriage. So much judgment on this site. It's very sad.

That's Jesus's job, not yours or mine. He conquers, defeats and overcomes sin through His sacrifice for us. We are not our own saviours, or anyone else's saviour, a bishop once said. Our job is to accept Jesus and trust in His sacrifice and God's love for us.

A mortgage is simply a loan that allows you to purchase a home that you will pay for long-term. You don't become a slave to the lenders as long as you purchase within your means. A slave has no option. A responsible mortgagor can sell and move on any time they like.

What is it, exactly, that you think the word "sovereign" means? It simply refers to a Supreme ruler, or the font of authority. Why would God's sovereignty mean that He condones evil? Perhaps you are also confused about the meaning of the word "condone"?
