    Does God Love Everyone, "Unconditionally"?

Not true. God loves you no matter what. He loves the vilest sinner as much as the saint. To believe that you must do this or that, or believe this or that before God loves you, contradicts the Apostle John's teaching that God is Love.

    Does God Love Everyone, "Unconditionally"?

That would depend on how you view hell (Gehenna). If you believe Gehenna is retributive then it would seem to at the very least make God petty and vindictive. But if you view Gehenna as restorative with an end goal in mind; the salvation of the one being punished, then it can been seen as an...

    Does God Love Everyone, "Unconditionally"?

The crucifixion of the God-Man was the ultimate display of unconditional love for humankind. And it is because of this unconditional love that we can confidently say that God will continue to offer his mercy and forgiveness in the life and beyond.

It's non-sense like this that makes an unreasonable option, atheism, seem reasonable.

    Having some serious doubts...help?

Well...despite gallant efforts by many Christians, you CANNOT reconcile endless conscious torment with a loving God. In the end, ALL will be saved; this is a biblical teaching and also correctly portrays God as a loving father who NEVER gives up on his children. Go here and you will find many...

How do you differ to your parents in regard to Christianity?

My parents were Southern Baptist and that is the tradition I grew up in. We also had several baptist churches get there start in our home as mission churches. Like a good protestant, my dad (RIP) read his bible and believed his interpretation was correct and if you disagreed with him, he would...

Reparations for sin and insults to God

Did you understand the anti-biblical part? Christians who claim that the God who is love would require his own son to be murdered in order to appease his anger is so bizarre and hateful. Your God, not the God as revealed by Christ, is a despicable monster and thankfully does not exist.

    What Does Universal Salvation Mean?

The French philosopher Alain Badiou has written a fantastic book, Saint Paul: The Foundation of Universalism which lays out a very convincing case that THE Saint Paul was indeed a Universalist. The erudite Professor Ilaria Ramelli has written her tome The Christian Doctrine of Apokatastasis...

general early history of the Church

A couple of problems here. One...Constantine did not abandon Rome but chose, for economic and political reasons, to move the capital to what would later be called Constantinople. And it was the correct move since the eastern half (Byzantine) of the empire lasted about a 1000 years longer than...

By all means pray for your grandparents. Christians have been praying for the dead since the beginning of Christianity.

    Is Purgatory real?

In the Roman Catholic sense I would say no. What awaits us all after death is Hades where we await the resurrection. Will this be purgatorial in nature? It's possible. Christ died on the cross as an act of supreme sacrificial love to destroy death and redeem the human race. We are made clean...

Mainline Protestant and Evangelical denominations both declining, how do we change that?

Indeed He does. And that would be ALL! And that really is good news! He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces . . . It will be said on that day, “Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him; let us be glad and rejoice in His salvation” (Is 25.8–9).
