Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

I won't be reading any further replies. I wish I could just delete this whole thread. Posting this was a terrible idea.

Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

I believe we've had a misunderstanding. I started this thread because I want to know if the thing I described is a sin. I thought you were telling me to replace my desire to be overweight with a desire to be thin, so I got annoyed and explained that I already tried that and it didn't work. Now I...

Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

I actually find this kind of offensive, seeing as I'm bisexual and I don't believe that the Bible actually says it's wrong. And if you're saying that doing the opposite will make it go away, I TRIED that. I starved myself to lose weight and replaced the pictures of fat girls with pictures of...

Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

I didn't say I've resorted to purging. I said NON-purge bulimia. Someone with non-purge bulimia starves themselves or exercises excessively after a binge. I starved myself after binges. I actually have purged before, but I couldn't throw up quietly enough (according to the pro-ana roommate I had...

Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

I read that the Bible doesn't actually say whether or not masturbation is a sin. If masturbation IS a sin, then this definitely is. But the Bible doesn't actually address masturbation.

Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

I said that I'm not actually doing it because there are health risks and it would probably be hard to find the unusual clothes I like in plus sizes. I'm padding my clothes instead so I can sort of satisfy the desire to be overweight without actually gaining weight, and it sexually arouses me.

Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

My old counselor knew that I wanted to be overweight and she said there was nothing wrong with it once she understood that I didn't want to be enormous.

Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

Pretty sure this is unrelated. Plenty of people who WEREN'T abused are into this stuff. This is something that actually sexually arouses me, and I was never sexually abused. And I'm not a child. I'm 20. And I've been to counseling. I've still got a lot of issues, but I'm much better than I was...

Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

My weight isn't going up and down. I reached 137 pounds when I was 15. I went down to 125 later. I kind of unintentionally lost a few pounds after that. (I actually had to overeat A LOT to gain all that weight.) Then I gained weight after starting my job because there were always snacks and I...

Is it a sin to be turned on by this thing?

This is really embarrassing, but asking my pastor would be even more embarrassing (especially since I'm close friends with his oldest daughter). I've been fascinated by fat ever since I started reading Garfield when I was five or six. I've always fantasized about being fat. When I played...

Catholics, what exactly do you believe about Mary?

Uh, I'm the one who started this thread in the first place. I included the conversation with my friend as additional information because it seems like we're disagreeing on what my friend meant. I think that he means that he thinks that Catholics actually believe that Mary is a goddess. Some of...

Catholics, what exactly do you believe about Mary?

Here's the conversation I had with my friend prior to posting this (he stopped replying): Me: There's a guy at Bronies of Phoenix who claims to be both Wiccan and Baptist. Friend: ... Friend: Which means he's not really a Christian Me: Yup. Me: I wonder how he can possibly think that he's both...

Catholics, what exactly do you believe about Mary?

Thank you, everyone. Hopefully this will at least convince my friend that Catholics are actually Christians. :)

Catholics, what exactly do you believe about Mary?

And she IS NOT given the status of a goddess, correct? Before I show this thread to my friend, I'd like for someone to clearly state that she isn't given a status equivalent to that of a goddess. I understand, of course, that she has been given no such status by the Catholic Church, but my...

Catholics, what exactly do you believe about Mary?

I believe you misunderstood. My dad didn't say that Mary isn't the Queen of Heaven and the mother of God. The problem here is that my friend thinks that you think that Mary is a goddess. THAT'S what my dad was saying is misinformation from Chick Publishing.

Catholics, what exactly do you believe about Mary?

A good friend of mine (who is Pentacostal) has some very confused ideas about what Catholics believe. I mentioned to him that there are people who call themselves "Christian Wiccans" and believe that Mary is a goddess, and he said that it sounds like they've got some Catholic ideology behind...

So I've become a Christian again... Now what?

First, some background information. I was raised a Christian. I went to Baptist churches until second grade, then I started going to an E-Free church. Starting the summer before third grade, I started going to an LCMS church. (I was also baptized in third grade, which was something I'd been...
