    If a Catholic converts to Judaism, he has committed Apostasy and ipso facto ceases to be a member of the Church. He ceases to be a Christian. Believing in Jesus unto salvation means, includes, and requires believing in Jesus and doing all that He says.

    There is a such thing as an ex-Catholic. Martin Luther is one of numerous examples of an ex-Catholic. A person loses membership in the Church by Heresy, Apostasy, or Schism.
