Falling away from the faith... again...

Hello again everyone, thank you all for your prayers. I have been doing some serious thinking, soul searching, praying, and have come to the conclusion that God and the supernatural does not exist. So I guess I have fully fallen away from the faith.

Falling away from the faith... again...

Thank you all for your compassionate responses, and your prayers. I find myself in a muddle of confusion lately (which isn't helped by my mental disorders), but I will keep on seeking the truth....

Falling away from the faith... again...

I was raised Christian, and I got into new age which (seemed to have) messed me up. I thought I was possessed by demons so I converted back to Christian again. Faith was strong for a while, but after being to the doctor and with an upcoming neurologist appointment next week where the tests begin...

    Gift of Discernment question

Isn't levitation usually demonic? Like when the demons are throwing the person's body to the ceiling and stuff???

    Gift of Discernment question

Spirits are everywhere... everywhere. It's good most people are spiritually blind.

Has this ever happened to anyone besides me?

I don't think the gift of discernment has anything to do with it... we are all spiritual beings and have the ability to see things. But yes lots of spirits will purposely 'show' themselves, and what you see is their manipulation to frighten you. Best to just shut it out and ignore it and know...

    Do you BLACK OUT?

Thanks :) I feel it's a mixture of both. During my psychosis I suffered from a lot of demonic torment which I feel came from a generational curse on my step-dad's side. I since changed my last name and cut soul ties with him. But there is also a lot that happened that was plain delusion and...

    Do you BLACK OUT?

    Do you BLACK OUT?

Well... I was extremely depressed and suicidal when he was living with us, but I had general PTSD after he left(flashbacks, bad dreams, feeling emotionally numb, ect), and then it became Complex in 2015. I went to the doctor when he left with my mum but we didn't follow it up. I wish I had...

    Do you BLACK OUT?

I've had PTSD since my step-father left our family (he was abusive in so many different ways, and had been part of my life since I was three, he left when I was eighteen, and now I am twenty three). Then I developed psychosis at the end of 2015/beginning of 2016, for about half a year, with...

    Do you BLACK OUT?

Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It basically involves Dissociative Identity Disorder, so is classified as more complex than just regular PTSD. When I was at my worst I was a baby in an adult body and my family had to care for me, feed me, bathe me, dress me, ect... that lasted a few...

Obviously you are individuals and you have differing opinions to your doctor, but when it comes to the more serious stuff like paranoia and such better to listen to the doc. I have not always agreed with my therapist but for the most part it turned out she was right anyway...

    Do you BLACK OUT?

Sometimes I disappear and have no idea where I went, for usually a couple of hours at a time. I have C-PTSD. I guess it's called a blackout.

Btw, I have had psychosis, so I can speak from experience. Anti-psychotics really helped me.

When you're psychotic you do believe everything you think is logical and that everyone else are the crazy ones. It's just part of the illness. I would rather trust your doctor.

Is it okay to date another Christian whose been divorced?

It's cultural. Back in the day the Jewish men would divorce over everything, literally. They had the right to do that. It was easy, all they had to do was write their own certificate of divorce on paper. So Jesus was really confronting that immoral culture. I really don't think it applies today...

Does a false prophet or Christ know that they are one? And do they believe in their own delusions?

I do not have Schizophrenia but as a result of Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder I had a transient psychotic episode (lasted about six months) before anyone realized what was going on, and I have to definitely agree with you that I was acting pretty cultish at the time thinking I was some...
