Sam's Club closing dozens of stores

Straight up, Sam's Club couldn't compete. Nothing wrong with the "model" - the model works great for their competitors. You have Sam's Club who cheaps out every way possible and especially in how they pay and treat their employees, then you have Costco who pays far higher to their employees...

Pastor gets standing ovation for sexual sin against a woman, she is appalled

Well, very clearly I'm from a very different part of the USA. Sorry, not Amish - maybe you're not aware but there are no Amish communities in NJ. Just because you have Amish where you live doesn't mean they are everywhere. I was a teen also - what this youth pastor did was not typical for me...

Pastor gets standing ovation for sexual sin against a woman, she is appalled

"Typical"? Not for me and not for any of my male friends. This was (or is?) typical for you? Typical for your friends? Where are you from that this is "typical" behavior? Unbelievable. Certainly none of my Christian friends but even among my non-Christian friends this is not "typical" in...

    The Democratic Safe House

I gushed over Hilary and voted for her over Obama in the primary in 2007, within a year or two I felt dumb after seeing how good Obama was and as time has gone on I have grown to dislike Hilary. I love Sanders though.

    The Democratic Safe House

I am independent but I think I might change to Democrat just so I can vote for Bernie Sanders!

Is it a coke or soda or pop?

I've used and still use both Coke syrup and Ginger Ale (flat) for an upset stomach. I have no evidence it works, I THINK it works, but it's delicious in any case!

Is it a coke or soda or pop?

For me it's soda unless you're specifically talking about Coca-Cola brand which is Coke. I never use "pop" but I'm used to it from times I spent in the midwest for work and with family.

    Hi!

Hi, I'm J.J. from New Jersey but in Manhattan, NYC... Interesting forums and I look forward to reading and posting! I'm Christian but I like discussing with everyone. I think most Christians are like me in that we're conditioned to be wary of atheists and other non-Christians but as I get...
