That is definitely a valid concern. It is one we considered when I was going back to work a few years ago. I went back on a part-time if I have to quit, quit basis. But it ended up going surprisingly well. I've had a few setbacks, but I've been doing really well overall.

I have attempted finding home based work but with only admin and warehouse experience noone will hire me for it, I will definitely need other training to get in first. I was planning to take my time with some free online classes before I dive in, i definitely don't want to overload myself.

Unfortunately medical professions are a non option for me. I'd considered it, and some people with my health problems do do it, but it's not a risk I'm willing to take.

I can and currently do work at a desk on a computer for most of my 8 hour work day. My condition can and probably will degrade to that point in about 20 to 30 years but we agreed to plan for the best and have plans if my body does degrade faster than we anticipated.
