    Christianity and Self-Image

OP is largely referring to "false humility." And it's not glorifying to God. God gave us gifts and talents and knacks for being good at things. It is fine to acknowledge that we are created beings that would not be able to muster these gifts up for ourselves, but to act like we have no gifts...

    Your mental age

I got 35... I'm 33. If I had answered the question about politics differently, I probably would've had a younger result. :tonguewink: Also, what kind of english was that on the ice cream question??? I answered by art of deduction.

    Is it the right time?

I'm 33 and single. Not because of my profile picture - I don't always look like that. However, because I placed such an emphasis on "finding love" when I was your age, I burned away ALL OF MY 20s in pursuit of it. That was the defining mistake of my life for 10+ years. Broken hearts...

    Back In My Day

Which, of course, we do... I always saw right through my teachers' bull-pucky on that one. I feel like our generation had it best. Our lives were not yet consumed by glowing screens (phones, tablets) as kids, but those glowing screens sure have come in handy as adults.

Is the Christian life too PG?

I welcome the challenge of being PG as an adult that lives & works in normal society. It is an art form to get along with the crowd, hang with the crowd, but not be like the crowd.

Is it bad to get into a guy that cheated on his ex wife

Unless this occurred 10+ years ago and he's never cheated on anyone since, I would definitely not feel safe if I were you. Another important note: Guys like that know how to get girls to like them. Bear this in mind.

    Evangelism

Christians are called to evangelize, and to defend the faith. But, there needs to be wisdom employed in going about it. Also, people have different gifts, which should be used accordingly when evangelizing. For example, I am a very relational person. I could not evangelize by standing on the...

    Christian and eBay returns.

They refunded the money, no questions asked, because it was only $3.25, so they didn't care. I would have trashed it at that point. And moooooved on!

How do you cope with things like this?

Had it happen. Saying we liked each other, and that we were interested in each other, and then poof... they're running down a different trail, like it never happened. I'll admit that it's added some crust to my heart... at this stage in the game, feelings take longer to surface, and they...

    Small town or big city?

I went with no less than 150,000, although it would depend on the circumstances. Is it a small town because it is geographically small, or is it a small town because it is far away from populated areas? Currently, I live in a city of over 10 million people lol. But if I were to get married...
