The Atlantic: "Not Wanting Kids is Entirely Normal"

I see nothing wrong in not wanting children. Unfortunately many people think they're superior just because they produced kids. I wouldn't call wanting to be a grandparent selfish in itself. But I agree they shouldn't put pressure on their children to became parents. A child should be a wish...

    Adultry

No woman should suffer like that. :( I'm not condoning cheating but maybe she wouldn't cheat if her husband didn't beat her up? Also, if he hates her to the point he beats her besides the cheating, why doesn't he leave her? I think it´s unfair she can´t have happiness just because she would...

The Discovery of Jesus Body - would it shake your faith?

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. I'm sorry too if this thread is offensive. A portuguese priest was interviewed about this today. Apparently some archaeologists found His original burial place in the Holy Sepulcher and they raised the possibility of His body be found. He...

    Traditional Marriage

The same argument is used here, I believe is worldwide. Personally I don't believe gay marriage per se damages traditional marriage. What damages it is the cheating, abuse and high-rate divorces. It bugs me people who call themselves Christians, are married more than twice but still they use...

    Domestic Violence

Here in Portugal I heard about domestic violence many times when I watch the news. In some stories it's usual the husband murder the wife, then takes his own life. :sigh: Some husbands/partners even go to the point to murder the kids to hurt the mother. A nine month old baby was stabbed in the...

    Gender-Neutral Restrooms

I think it's usual nowadays. I made a training recently and the office has only a restroom with two stalls, one for the male and other for the female. The female stall toilet was clogged up for a while and we had to use the male stall. No big deal.

Why the Demand for Catholic Priest celibacy?

My family is friends with a priest who gave his opinion on this subject, he said if he were married his wife and kids would feel neglected since he had to travel a lot so he understood why priests should be celibate. "Even Peter left everything" he claimed.

Did Adam and eve's children sexually procreate through incest?

In the Bible there's no mention of any daughters from Adam and Eve. But I heard there's an apocryphal text that says Caim married a sister. I don't see any way they could procreate besides incest, since Adam and Eve were the only people on Earth. (or it is assumed)

    Circumcision

I know that circumcision is popular in the USA, unlike Europe and others regions. I also think the children should decide for themselves when grown ups.
