    Is Panspermia a Possibility?

I don't know how good the odds ratio you're giving here is, and I'm sure that the results of whatever experiment led to it are debatable. That said, they're probably close to being correct. It would be really strange for all of the parts of even a simple cell to fall together. The first cell...

    Is Panspermia a Possibility?

Thanks for responding!! I think we can tell if a thing has more information or is more complex just by looking at the data involved. 4 is more complex than 2 and purple is more complex than blue, and both 4 and purple hold more infomation than do 2 and blue. That is a rather simple example...

    Is Panspermia a Possibility?

Do you mean that we need a defintion of specified complexity that will allow us to measure specified complexity? Then I would define it as follows: Specified complexity is a term used to describe any information that is both specified and complex (i.e. one letter of the alphabet is specified...

    Is Panspermia a Possibility?

Well, wouldn't it have to do so without an outside factor? With no outside force acting upon the non-living matter, what needs to be explained is the origin of the biological information found in DNA. While the theories of abiogenesis speak of the cell coming from a simple DNA or RNA, or...

    Is Panspermia a Possibility?

:) Hmm.. Well I haven't heard of Luskin before so I couldn't comment on any lack of honsty or failures in science or whatever... And I'm not a biochemist either lol, but I found the probability of biological information arising by chance and it is pretty ridiculous. I'll just type in what I...

    Is Panspermia a Possibility?

Agreed... Maybe the title should have been "Is Panspermia Very Probable?"

    Is Panspermia a Possibility?

I just wanted to share something that I read today that was quite interesting. I do not know a lot about panspermia, directed or otherwise, and so I am interested in what you all think. While browsing around on Twitter I came across and article tweeted by J. Warner Wallace from Cold Case...

More proof the bible is correct and modern science is a lie.

Could you provide me with a link to that site if it is on the web or a way to get that info myself?

More proof the bible is correct and modern science is a lie.

I don't believe we arose without God. I believe that God created us. What I was saying is that if God doesn't exist and life arose by chance or necessity or because there was some outside law, other than God, directing the whole shebang, then that would be unlikely enough, but for it to happen...

More proof the bible is correct and modern science is a lie.

Well, I mean I can buy that it's possible that we are the only life... Of course there could be other life out there :-) I'm not one to limit God! But if I didn't believe in God then I would have more trouble believing in the possibility of other intelligent life in the cosmos... I know it's...
