    RE-Linux

I started experimenting with Linux since the 2009 time-frame. I'm heavily into technology, but not a super computer-user so it had to be relatively easy: Ubuntu or one if its variants seemed the way to go. I tried many different distros and settled on Ubuntu Mate. If one of my computers...

    Lavalier mic

I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert, and I don't play one on TV, nor masquerade as one on the internet, but I've seen the quality of good microphones ruined by the room itself: the echoing/reflections that our ears and brains normally cancel out or compensate for becomes apparent. The...

    Dual-boot

During my travels around the Ubuntu forest (installing all of them in order to test them properly since Linux installs so very quickly and easily) I looked at Linux Mint. Not too bad, a little awkward, a little too confusing because of its attempt to be simplistic. Then in my research I found...

    Dual-boot

I looked at all the Ubuntu flavors and their derivatives, and finally standardized on Mate (including financial support). It was the most intuitive, very simple for non-techies, and very similar for those accustomed to Windoze.

    Dual-boot

Last I read is that Windoze wants/needs/demands to be first. Fine. I then make sure swap files are off and deleted, and clean out all temp files and empty trash. Defrag as many times as necessary to provide a solid chunk of empty space after the Widoze mess is all tucked tightly at the...

Very soon after we were married this is exactly how I introduced my wife to skinny-dipping (it was a lake far in the woods)! It wasn't planned, it just made practical sense! She absolutely loved it and was hopelessly hooked! Christianity had nothing to do with it.

We don't share with others much due to what they might think of us because of stereotypes and ignorance, and what society has taught them about nudists and nudism. They "live more in fear." I like that, nice way of putting it.

I'm surprised to hear this. Why do you think that is? Maybe older people can afford the cost to go to resorts?

Yes, "the innocent joy of recreating and socializing without clothes." I agree completely, that's what I have discovered during my 4+ decades of being a social nudist.

We went to a nude church service once, when we were at White Tail in southern VA. We were very very impressed! Great fundamental Bible teaching, better than we expected.

Yes! That's has always been my primary concern, offending someone else! I don't mind being seen, it's just I don't know what the other person thinks. And darkhorse, I sent you a message on your wordpress blog.

I really agree with this! A few times I've read articles criticizing and poking fun at social nudism because of all the imperfect, wrinkly bodies.
