I'd say at my congregation it's more common than it appears to be here, it's probably a 70% that don't and 30% who do. It isn't uncommon in our church for people to do it.

We did the Lord's Prayer study during Lent. It was pretty well received. I've heard they've come out with book of faith studies on actual biblical books now but I haven't seen any of those yet.
Is it really a loophole if it's in the church constitution now? This isn't a "loophole" if its a bylaw of the church, it's on the books after CCM. Churches "going rogue" and ignoring current church policy is not the same as exceptional ordination which the church allows.
Yeah, this one confuses me too. I understand why people are mad, I've heard the comments that Warren made. I just don't see the connection between Obama and Rick Warren, other than he's a "super-Pastor" who everyone knows the name of. He can't pick his own home pastor for inflammatory comments...
