    Papal bull. :D

Accepting the free gift by grace

Nope. Salvation by works is not taught in Scripture. It's directly opposite of what is taught in scripture, and therefore is a lie. It is false; it is incorrect. The argument that we are saved by works has already been proven to be a lie by the entire New Testament.

Accepting the free gift by grace

Well, it if ain't the truth (which is it isn't), then is must be a lie.

Accepting the free gift by grace

This is also not true. Works of any kind do not save, lest any man should boast. This is heresy, and a corruption of the gospel.

Accepting the free gift by grace

That is a lie, because Scripture clearly says : For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph 2:8)

Is there something that would cause you to leave Christianity?

That's the Holy Spirit's job, not yours.

Is there something that would cause you to leave Christianity?

Nobody can or should "change their lives for Christ". It is impossible for the natural man to live for Christ. One can only live the Christian life by being born again, and abiding in the vine.

Is there something that would cause you to leave Christianity?

I've already tried to leave and be an atheist. As a child of God, it didn't work out to well as God showed me during a 10 year period.

What errors and inventions arose in Roman Catholicism?

Why have Malangi Teeta's posts been deleted?

The Bible says that we're all evil. The only difference between you and I is that I've accepted Christ, while you have not.

    Hebrews 6:4-6

You're not putting those verses in their proper context. The issue at hand in Hebrews were Jews who were going back to OT sacrifices all over again. Read verses 26 through 39. Better yet, read the whole book again. Same with 1 John. Paul and John do NOT state that we don't sin...

    He wants EVERYONE saved?

One can make a case for Calvinism and Arminianism in the scriptures. This is one of the mysteries of the Bible. Hank Hannegraf once said that the two views are liked two parallel lines going off in the distance, but never meeting.

    Hebrews 6:4-6

Read 1 John 2:1-2 2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. He's...

Fellow Baptists: What is your favorite Bible translation?

I've been using NKJV and KJV.

Have KJVO's prayed to God and asked if the KJV was the only valid version?

I avoid KJVO's who advocate strongly, because they're divisive people. They are also teaching things that aren't true, and so ridiculously absurd it's laughable. The Apostle Paul had strong words for people who seek to divide the body of Christ.

    Hebrews 6:4-6

1 Jn 1:8-10 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

    Hebrews 6:4-6

Pray, and keep confessing. 1 Jn 1:9 says that if we confess our sins, then he's faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If your sins are forgiven then you are going to heaven. There is now therefore NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus...

If you are sinless shouldn't you be immortal ?

Yes we do have a sin nature. The Apostle Paul deals with this extensively in his writings. It is called the 'flesh' in the bible.
