Let me try to find a better way to word it. I can understand how people feel voting is a form of self-defense. However, I do not think it is an effective form of self-defense. When talking about voting I am speaking about individuals, not society as a whole. It does not make sense for one...

"Don't play with your firearm, OK?" the officer says.

Sounds like a routine stop to me. Why is this newsworthy?

    Ye Olde Libertarian Pub

In my opinion the only thing that would work is blatant disobedience and/or revolution. You don't have to attend school or work, you choose to. If someone shoots me I could care less whether or not it is intentional. Motives are irrelevent. The only thing that is relevent is the outcome of...

You're the "King of Bacon": Rand Paul to Chris Christie

He admitted "bacon" can have multiple implications. How does he know which one Rand meant to use?

You're the "King of Bacon": Rand Paul to Chris Christie

It is not a wrong definition, but an incomplete one. I will stop as soon as you either admit you're wrong or stop making silly statements.

    Arkansas school district arming teachers

Since there are multiple armed teachers there would be other teachers there to stop the attack. How is that worse than someone walking into a "gun free" school and shooting everyone?

You're the "King of Bacon": Rand Paul to Chris Christie

Can you read everyone's mind or just Rand Paul's?

    Arkansas school district arming teachers

I'm not advocating arming school teachers, I'm arguing that everyone should be allowed to be armed everywhere.
