Hi all, I know I don't post here much but I do like reading the posts here. I have a big day this Sunday as after 1.5 years of studying I am being confirmed. I really excited and nervous at the same time. I have never participated in communion before and this Sunday will be my first. Cheers!

Hi There, I highly recommend "Lutheran Spirituality". It's a bit of a heavy read but I found it very interesting and gave me a deeper sense of my faith. It is like a course as you read on essay and then must do some 'homework'. It is available from Concordia Publishing House.

I just finished reading "The Spirituality of the Cross" by Edward Veith Jr. I cannot recommend this book enough as I found it impossible to put down. It explains the Lutheran faith in such an amazing, fresh way. It made me excited and reinvigorated my faith.
