I had to think about this because i was just diagnosed back in june at the age of 47 and married. I would wait and see where things begin to go then make the decision on when to tell.

I am new to bipolar, just diagnosed in june at the age of 47. I never use to watch college football and now it helps relax me by keeping my mind occupied. It is hard to keep up with those racing thoughts sometimes.

I was diagnosed bipolar back in june at the age of 47 and i found myself doubting God and I dont like it! I know he loves me and will never forsake me. The problem is my mind and whats happening inside of there. God bless you and keep your head up. bernie

because the dosage is so low the blood tests are not required. In fact so much of the lithium gets into the brain that at times it may not even show up in the blood.

thanks for the reply...mine are 4.8mg elemental and i took 6 spread out from breakfast to dinner. I think i am cutting down today to four, skip the dinner dose. I had the side effects with the carbonate as well.

i meant lithium carbonate...sorry

it is a mood stabilizer without all the side effects of lithium orotate

It is a pill...it is a form of lithium that is sold over the counter rather than by prescription. I did a couple weeks of research via google and it seems fantastic. so far i am feeling much better with it.

one more question...anybody out there ever try lithium orotat? i just started saturday and was curious about any info...
