Can The State Of Israel Be Destroyed!

Jipsah, what are your impressions of my thread on the trinity of Judaism? It seems really important to grasp for this subject. It is what was embedded in Judaism that prevented it from appreciating any new dimensions or reality in prophecy (only torah was divine and was 1/3 of the trinity).

Can The State Of Israel Be Destroyed!

lol, and Ranting is the one using the < or > signs. Ranting: 69 < 70!

Preterist say I come quickly 70AD, Hmmmmmm!

No Hebrews says it was fading even then (late 50s, early 60s), or disappearing. In theory, it ended at the Gospel, true. But if a person in Judaism didn't know, then...

Daniel's 70 Week Prophecy Explained (No Future 7 Year Tribulation, Only 3.5 Year Great Tribulation)

btw, there are types of preterism that cannot be discussed here, so you have to qualify what you are saying. If you don't, please know that you are not speaking to me. Many futurists agree that certain things happened in 70 AD, too. In fact, those things did happen even if futurists don't know...

Daniel's 70 Week Prophecy Explained (No Future 7 Year Tribulation, Only 3.5 Year Great Tribulation)

I grew up fundamentalist D'ist and then in college heard Dr. Schaeffer and Brinsmead from Australia the same quarter. When I head Brinsmead, I think it was the first time I had ever heard Gal 3 and Acts 13. Then I found out they were about nearly the same topic to nearly the same audience and...

Jun 29-Jul 5: The apostles vs futurism

Joel 2 was clearly explained by Peter in Acts 2. Since one futurist here didn't like what he found, he said that Peter's sermon was part of Peter's lapse. lol Anything for futurism. btw, there is at least one important distinction to make about preterism and it is at the header of each...

Jun 29-Jul 5: The apostles vs futurism

He was referring to watching for indicators, and he also had another "Israel" in mind. He does not think like a futurist you see. That's why Lk 24 and Acts 1, and the rest of Acts, sound like they do. Most of your passages must be handled by the NT, to know what we are dealing with. On Jer...

Preterist say I come quickly 70AD, Hmmmmmm!

It would be best not to use the term preterist. I'm not. A few things may be the same. I think you are referrring to full preterist without realizing that they aren't allowed anyway. Partial simply means you believe certain things were fulfilled in 70, which I have heard futurists agree to.

Daniel's 70 Week Prophecy Explained (No Future 7 Year Tribulation, Only 3.5 Year Great Tribulation)

The 70th week happened in the 1st century. Business is done with Israel. We live in the 'culmination' of the ages: all business, meaning, lead ups, fulfillment, conclusions were reached, and those ages are likely Daniel's 70 ages. Heb 9:26. what else AT THAT TIME could he be referring, or do...

Jun 29-Jul 5: The apostles vs futurism

So if you have handled the Bible correctly and the modern issue is completely undercut misunderstanding of every thing the Bible said about the topic, then it is a non issue. There is no prophetic significance to modern Israel. There never needed to be any. That's why. Everyhting is now...

So, just like today's news, we should start with "today's" RT? That creates a time warp. We can't be discussing what we need to unless we know why Paul discussed RT in his day. Today's issue may look totally different when you are done, but so what?

    The Leftist Religion

The SCOTUS court on SS marriage is unbelievable insanity. It's based on an unstated war on separation of genders. It makes everyone before 10 years ago out to be a bigot. There is no reason in it that polygamy and all other perversion cannot be allowed for "luv". The Left dictates...

Narrow is The Gate Are You WorthY!

Ranting, you have a point but don't know how to make it. The meaning, destiny and objective of Israel was to bring about the resurrection of Christ. Acts 13's sermon. That is Israel's gift and light to the nations, because it is Christ. But you are reading things about Israel the ethnos...

Jun 29-Jul 5: The apostles vs futurism

Straight, you should not be discussing RT if you are not going to absorb what Gal 3:17 was the RT problem. That problem is displacing the promise in Christ which BAB is very good at listing with Judaism.

Jun 29-Jul 5: The apostles vs futurism

Keras, stop the bible verse spears. You're just closing yourself off from thinking. First of all, people who believe what BAB just wrote are the minority not the people who swoon over modern Israel. Don't you even know that about the current situation? If the narrow way is best, you'd better...

Daniel's 70 Week Prophecy Explained (No Future 7 Year Tribulation, Only 3.5 Year Great Tribulation)

No you don't "have to" do any of it. That is nonsense. You stay faithful to the Gospel by procaliming it, not by knowing the future assisted by a "walk" with God to help you do so. shall we sound/operate like the apostles or not? I guess not!

Jun 29-Jul 5: The apostles vs futurism

The three most quoted passages of the apostles were Ps 2, 16 and 110. The three most quoted chapters of the futurists are Ps 83, Ezek 38, 39. The apostles said nothing about the futurist's fav chapters, even when speaking on the destiny, meaning, legacy, outcome, purpose of Israel in Acts 13...

    Banks not Opening Monday.

doug, I suggested the reading bc so many people think the NT is a free for all as far as organization goes. we end up with stuff direct from the OT and the news and NOTHING from the plain language of the NT. Just imagine being there at Acts 26 and telling Israel the shape of things. Nothing...

Bible news - the little horn out of Europe

AS you said in the other thread, it is not Christian. That's the point. It may happen, maybe not. The law of unintended consequences and Murphy's law will be there. But none of this means it is what apostolic mission and passion are about, which is what we belong to as Christians. We preach...
