I normally think of chemistry as other people have said, you just connect effortlessly and/or deeper than with other people. But, like this: there are some people, friends and other things, that you feel so much like them and share un-explainable occurrences with them that it is uncanny...

I think people don't discuss the other issues as much because they are either directly or indirectly related to climate change and its causes. If we address the fossil fuel issue and the rampant consumerism that fuels it(pardon the pun), the other issues would be "fixed" at the same time.

The use of alternative energy sources becomes more popular every day. We may not ever completely eradicate fossil fuels or we may not have time to at this rate, but I think any politician that doesn't try is phenomenally unwise.
