I think where it talks about church supports the idea of youth group/small group. Church, in the original Greek text "Eclesia," means a movement or gathering of people. That's what I believe youth group is. It is a place to learn, as is going to a service/sermon/mass/etc.

My youth group did a lesson over that before and it was very helpful. WE learned that should, when you are ready, pray for God to give you someone to share your faith. I don't believe, however, that you should pray for Him to bring you a specific person, because He knows you best.
