Thanks for the help Resha and filosofer. A lot of what I have read in this book I can see several holes. It was some of the histroical stuff that got me questioning. I am going to read up on some of these books so I am better prepared the next time I see my friend.

Right now I plan to water fast until next Sunday (March 4th). Then fast Monday-Saturday, eating a small meal on Sundays. So after the initial 10 days, I wont be going longer than 6 days without food.
