The name "Jehovah" is NOT a corruption of the name of God, as some have suggested. It is the Latin form just like the name Jesus. I don't understand why so many Christians use the name Jesus on a regular basis but reject the name Jehovah.

I looked into the Churches of Christ a while back, I thought they were very New Testament, Jesus based. You could look into them. I doubt you will find a church that ignores any of the books of the Bible though and I don't know why you would want to find one.
