God will not judge our sins twice

I'm afraid I don't understand where your going with this double jeopardy thing. But, as a child of God, you could not go out on a sinning spree and remain a child of God. That would destroy your relationship with God.

    Jesus' name baptism

Think about it this way: The only place in the bible where it says to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is in Matt. 28:19. Jesus spoke those words there. But all those who heard him, when they baptized people, they baptized in the name of Jesus. That means they clearly...

    The "Trinity"

If the word trinity is not found in the bible, why call God "The Holy Trinity"? He clearly doesn't want to be called that if it's not in the bible!

All of the 11 apostles, I mean. They were all there when Jesus said what is said in Matt. 28:19

    Baptism

-I'm not sure where, I think it was somewhere during the Lord's supper, that Jesus said something to the effect of "The Lord shall send the Comforter in my Name". (The comforter=The Holy Ghost). So the Holy Ghost's Name is Jesus. -The Son's name is obviously Jesus - Jesus said: "I recieved my...

    The "Trinity"

Which is exactly why I believe that the NAME of the Father is Jesus, the name of the Son is Jesus, and the name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus, therefore the NAME of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is Jesus.

    Am I an "Unorthodox" Christian?

I'm sorry, but I could care less wether what I believe was condemned in the 2nd/3rd century! I have another question: Who or What condemned modalism in the 2nd/3rd century? My guess would be the Roman Catholic Church.

    The "Trinity"

That is EXACTLY what I believe! But I don't believe he should be called the Trinity in any way because he is ONE God! For example: If I had 1 name and 2 false names, why refer to me as "The one who has 3 names"? It is the same way with God. Jesus and the Holy Ghost are simply manifestations of...

    Am I an "Unorthodox" Christian?

Ahhhh... I see how my views differ from trinitarian views now. I believe in One God, not as like a maried couple, but just as one person. But his spirit was manifested in Jesus Christ and his spirit is the Holy Ghost in us.

    Am I an "Unorthodox" Christian?

    - I was merely making the point that the people in my town accept my Dad and our church as mainstream christians, and I have never thought of myself otherwise. - I am really not that concerned if I am not a mainstream christian. I also know that CF doesn't judge my eternal destiny. But I am...

    Am I an "Unorthodox" Christian?

I don't think so. I thought the trinity was God as three parts that agree as one. If what you said is true, I guess I'm a trinitarian! But I'm almost 100% sure I am not.

    Am I an "Unorthodox" Christian?

The nature of God is that God is one. Jesus was simply a manifestation of God, with the "Father's" spirit in him. The Holy Ghost is simply God's spirit in us. See my other post in this forum entitled "The "Trinity""

    Am I an "Unorthodox" Christian?

I'm not saying yours is more biblical than mine. I'm just saying CF shouldn't call someone not a christian if their views are based entirely on the bible and they follow christ. That is the very definition of Christian is follower of Christ. The Roman Catholic Church made up all this "you're not...

    The "Trinity"

I'm sorry, I don't recall a scripture of that sort anywhere. I would prefer book, chapter, and verse. I don't want to seem hypocritical, so if you prefer I can give you book chapter and verse for my quotes of Jesus...?
