Anyone Know Any Good Links For In-Depth Bible Studies?

You might want to check out http://www.thephathouse.co.uk/forum/ It doesnt have studies as such but they are attempting an online coorperate study, looking at a new passage each week. It's quite new so only small at the moment but seem to be growing. Might be worth a look.

    Tongues part 2

Sorry if what i wrote was unclear. I certainly didnt want to be new agey :D All i meant was that we should be longing for, working for if you like, our characters be like that of Jesus. Jesus is our pefect example of how to live our lives in the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom transcends...

    Tongues part 2

As with all things in the on-going saga that is the relationship between man and God, God is interested in the state of out hearts. As Disciples of Christ we should be seeking our characters to become more like Christ so we can achieve the fullness of life both in this world and the next. I...

Was Judas condemned to Hell for betraying Jesus?

It's seems the circles have allready begun on this one, so instead of going around them i will just note about Blaspheming the Holy Spirt. It is not, not acknowledging Jesus, if you see what i mean. It is deliberatly attributing somthing to Satan which was down to some part of the trinity...

Was Judas condemned to Hell for betraying Jesus?

I think what we need to remeber here is that Judas was human. Just like us. He made a mistake, just like we do. I don't think there is any need to go down the pre-destined / free will line here. God looks at the state of our hearts and not only is it not our place to judge the state...

    QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NEPHILIM...Genesis 6: 1-4

Not really sure how far this topic can go; as the truth is we don't know. The suggestion is in Gen 6:4 that the Flood didn't wipe them out. "the Nephilim were on the earth in those days - and also afterwards..." And we see them mentioned,as already noted in later parts of the Old...

    bible study

Hi, Just wanted to agree with Symes. Self exploartion is the key. We need to read the word for ourselfs, ask the Holy Spirt to reveal it's truth. For too long people have listen to what others say is written and have no bothered to look themselves. By all means read with somebody...
