    Religious Imagery in Literature

Hey everyone, I just read the Old Man and the Sea in my English class, and we had to get into groups and take a different aspect of the story. My group's is the use of religious imagery. We're supposed to make a connection between the Old Man and the Sea and some outside source, so I was...

Who's going to die in the Half-Blood Prince?

There're too many Weasleys for all of them to survive, in my opinion. I don't think she'd kill off the last of the Marauders to stay on the good side (Lupin, that is), but maybe Hagrid or McGonagall... hmm.

You shouldn't have laughed...but you did!

How about that scene in AI: Artificial Intelligence where Haley Joel stuffs his face with, I dunno, some green vegetable, and then his face melts? My friend and I laughed forEVER when we saw that in the theatre. Thinking back, it's actually kind of a weird part in that movie.

    The Amazing Race #7

I love the brothers; praying for their camera man was a cool thing to do. I was white knuckled on the edge of my seat as they were doing the water and when the 2 final teams jumped out of their cars and were running, I nearly went into cardiac arrest. I'm glad the brothers pulled it out...

    Just a Question

Okay, so in English class, my friend (who's been a believer longer than me and I think knows way more about this whole thing than I do) and I have to do this little project where we decide who was responsible for the Holocaust. We have to decide which group/single person gets the most blame, in...

Well, I haven't been to many, but last night, with a small crowd of 100-150 people, standing 3 FEET AWAY FROM JASON ROY THE WHOLE TIME I saw Building 429, and I was just blown away. It was beyond cool. I got a picture with them and all of their autographs and talked to 'em and it was AWESOME...

    how's the spiritual climate?

I'm from Janesville, WI, and with very few exceptions, everyone I know is some denomination of Christianity; though a lot of them are the "I'm a Christian because I go to church on Sunday" type (including nearly everyone at my Catholic church, which I can't wait to get out of). It's a pretty...
