Is there really such a thing as a Christian diet?

Been reading around and found some interesting resources on diets for Christians. Is there really such a thing though? Because if there is, why is it not emphasized more? Stuff I have been reading: The Bible Diet: Foods Created for the Benefit of Man What Would Jesus Eat? Do Christian...

    staying fit

I bought a kettlebell and love it. Just basic swings provides a great workout. Totally exhausted afterwards. Not sure if crunches alone are really all that effective, need to work the whole body.

    Who Eats Chicken?

Chicken is a healthy source of protein, lower in fat than red meat, does not cause bowel cancer. That is all the reason I need to eat it. Not really sure why point 6 would deter you eating chicken. Same rule applies to all domesticated animals doesn't it? Sheep are not famous for their...

    After the first date?

Yep, invite her out again. If she says no, or ignores you, take this to mean she did not enjoy your company. Otherwise she will probably say yes. Don't leave it too long though as if she is on a dating site, she will be looking to make other dates. Maybe mail / text / call her tomorrow to ask if...

When one married partner asks the other to stop contact with their mother..

Totally wrong. The single most important factor for any relationship is respect for each other, and this shows a total lack of respect for the husband and his family. OK, you may not like your in laws, but this does not mean you stop your partner from speaking to their parents. Crazy.

    Mandatory Internet ID on horizon?

Nothing good can come of it. Next there will be tracking to monitor every television program you watch, every book you read and every conversation you have.

An ethical defense of eating meat

Yep, as I mentioned too, being a Vegan or Vegetarian today is much easier than it would have been in the days before supermarkets and global agricultural networks. Being a vegetarian 2000 years ago would have most likely resulted in a range of nutrient deficiencies.

    Best movie villain ever?

Last night Sir Christopher Lee won the BAFTA Academy Fellowship. OK, he is not a fictional character, but played a lot of villians! Count Dracula in a string of Hammer Horror films. Francisco Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), Count Dooku in Star Wars (2002, 2005) Saruman in The...
