I agree, I don't think it's any mark of the beast or anything like that, but that bolded part is what bothers me when it comes to my usage of Facebook in the past... I was on it too much and I got more and more irritated with it as time passed! Now I'm hardly on there and I am so much happier...

Sorry for the super late reply... real life caught up on me ;) Anyway, I don't like it because of many reasons: my friends' narcissism, my mom uses FB to berate me (and I *hate* that), some church members "stalk" me on there but never say anything until we meet in person, gossipy people, too...

Ouch. That bad? For me, I just can see how narcissistic people are on there.

I have the NLT, NIV and The Message bibles. But for some time now I have been reading NLT on YouVersion using my smartphone.

It really depends on the couple. I know of a couple, now married, who courted for just a few months. Then on of my friends, now married to her husband, was courted by him for about 5 years. I think it depends on the couple's desires and their ages.
