Not at all...it was revealed by Baha'u'llah in the Kitab-i-Aqdas, (The Most Holy Book) our book of laws, but through His mercy was not binding on those of us in the West until recently. This is all done through the mechanisms put in place by Baha'u'llah and His Administrative Order. So...
