whereisthetruth - I like ur response (even though it's 1½ years old, lol!) I would say...it's your money. You earned it. Why should you feel guilty about saving it? Do you worship it? Do you flaunt it? If not, carry on.

Hard to do in this economy. When you lose your job, you go into survival mode, and if something is cheaper and just as good, you're more inclided to buy that versus an American counterpart. Not saying it's right, but it's just very difficult right now. :(
