Worship music is there because we want to worship God. It is not really about our taste. To be frank, I don't like worship music, or any music in general. Still, I sing and listen to worship songs because I love God.

We need to do both, share the gospels and take care of the poor's needs. Sometimes, it is our love for the poor and giving to them, that brings them to finally realize we are different from the world, and they accept the gospels.

I think a person should not just read the bible blindly. A person needs to know the heart of the bible, which is God's love for us. A person also needs the holy spirit to know the bible truly well.
