Interesting question! I want to think more about it, but my first reaction is to say yes, you're right. If you look at the definition of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: then it's pretty easy to see that showing and living love makes us more Christ-like.

Based on the totality of your posts, I'd say you are angry and depressed. I'd say you and your wife need marriage counseling. You're in my prayers.
