    Was Jesus omniscient?

I have wasted far too much of my life on religion. I quit.

I'm not gonna lie, Ray. That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me on CF. Good to hear from you, bro!

I, for one, stumble all the time. Some have even accused me of liking stumbling.

My signature held the answer for you this entire time... Amazing...

    Should infants/toddlers receive Communion?

As a reason, it also applies as one sensible reason for not giving the Eucharist to well-fed adults. Which, I think, is the point of 1 Cor. 11.

Oh, please don't get me wrong. I'm not criticizing you for having a good time. I'm all for having fun. I was trying to encourage the other guy to have some, as well.

    Should infants/toddlers receive Communion?

The question doesn't entirely compute. What shall we conclude about what? What weird stuff is anyone trying to put in babies' mouths? If a baby has a mother's milk to drink, why would you give it food that could feed someone who doesn't have such an awesome resource?

When I first posted on CF, I didn't realize that the really long threads were really just bouts between two or three people. So, when I first got pulled into such a bout, I was offended and very confused by what I was experiencing. Now, I have adapted to the environment enough to appreciate that...

    Was Jesus omniscient?

The topic is not developing because you refuse to get over kenosis. Oh, and yes we do have other answers, all of which you are refusing to accept. Tell me: what makes your refusal to accept our answers any different than our refusals to accept yours? Hypocrisy, or something else?

I would. Even if God wants to mock me, I'd get a kick out of it. It would be like sitting in the audience of the best comedian in the universe and having him take pot shots at you. I'd feel special. Plus, I like seeing Him happy, even at some personal cost to me.

    Was Jesus omniscient?

I wouldn't have said it if it wasn't. No. I didn't say that. Yes. What would make it necessary? No. I never said that. No. If I didn't want an answer, I wouldn't have asked. An answer, not the answer.

I totally respect that you are keeping it real. On the other hand, one question: Can we differentiate the difference between someone laugh at us and someone laughing at something we wrote? Just curious.

I know how being laughed at feels. But, emoticons and humor are appropriately used to communicate a wide variety of things. Therefore, you are free to not have a sense of humor, but universalizing that conviction might just be a little too intrusive for my taste. Thus, I will respect your...

    Should infants/toddlers receive Communion?

The command to examine our hunger is not totally physical in nature. The real issue is, are we consciously aware of those more needy than we are, and can we manage our hunger through our own resources, thus leaving the Lord's Supper for them? So, it's really a social awareness issue. Therefore...

I won't argue about what you think is right. Rom 14 makes it clear that you shouldn't let what you think is right be talked about as evil. I don't see it the way you do, but I totally respect that you see it that way. Therefore, while you can be fully aware that I am not going to stop my sense...
