The N/T warns us against 'seeking miracles'. The unbelievers do this. They want to see for themselves, instead of believing what others have witnessed (miracles of Christ).

What about Greece, Italy, Iceland, etc., etc.? What about the polluted waters of the world, the global warming, the disasters (floods, fires, earthquakes, famines, pestilences, etc.)? The world is 'debt-ridden'. Resources are becoming scarce. No country really knows the value of their currency...

Which 'miracles' are you referring to? Are these miracles accepted by everyone, as being true 'miracles'?

I think that you may be emphasizing the U.S. too much. The whole world is in economic trouble. It appears that we are heading for a perfect 'opening' for the 'antichrist' to take over. The problem is too huge, to be solved by mere 'man'. The 'end' may be closer than we think.
