    Communion of the Churches

ROCOR and the OCA were always in communion persay, which is why I think "in communion" should be in quotes because while they were in communion they wouldn't commune together. I had friends in the OCA who went to a ROCOR parish and they couldn't commune. It was sad. Vice versa too. Thank God...

    Lenten food thread

Really?! Never tried it, but it makes sense seeing as how I like to eat apples and they seem to keep me fine for a while (not hungry). I remember reading a random study on how apples are good with keeping feeling hunger down and tried to pay attention the next few times I ate an apple and it...

    Communion of the Churches

Simply put, the reason is pride and differences of opinion on certain topics. Things are getting better though on some fronts, thank God. :) A big step was made a few years ago with ROCOR and the MP, and then even more recently with ROCOR and the OCA. :)

Why are all topics concerning recent OCA episodes being locked?

Not trying to start an argument here but how do you know there is no one on this forum directly involved in the OCA administration? You don't. Nobody does. Not to mention, most of us here post anonymously for safety reasons, among other reasons. And writing letters to one's bishop is a good idea.
